THURSDAY, JANUARY 17: Customer service will be job one for a new company in Bermuda.

Efficient Technologies Bermuda Limited (Eff-Tech) as a Mitsubishi Electric Cooling and Heating solutions distributor for Bermuda.

It is part of the BAS group of companies and Eff-Tech is a mechanical contractor specialising in the design, supply, installation, and service and maintenance of heating, air conditioning and refrigeration (HVAC) and fire protection equipment, as well as building automation/controls and service.

Stephen Savage, sales and marketing manager, told the Bermuda Sun he felt there was a need in the Bermuda market for another HVAC company, especially one that puts its customers first.

Need

“The need in the market is based on customer service. At Eff-Tech we believe we can make a difference within the marketplace.

“That comes from building strong relationships which is all based on honesty, loyalty and the professionalism in which we carry out our tasks.”

He said the key in delivering that is through a team concept.

Mr Savage said the Eff-Tech staff has 85 years of experience between them and will be striving “to bring excellence to the market place”.

Mr Savage has 23 years experience in the industry, the last four of it in Bermuda.

The Eff-Tech warehouse is located at #10 Old Lane. The facility includes a training room to help prepare Bermudians in the various aspects of heating and cooling.

He was excited about “the training centre and what we can do for the community. This is an exciting journey.”

Mr Savage said the training room should be opened sometime between the middle of February to the end of March.

The Eff-Tech warehouse will hold $1.2 million inventory of products, as well as $100,000 worth of spare parts so that maintenance and service can be performed expeditiously. The company will offer 24-hour service for residential and commercial customers and will provide a seven-year warranty on all parts for Mitsubishi Electric Heating and Cooling equipment sold by the company.

Mr Savage claimed Mitsubishi products can deliver “a savings of 35 to 40 per cent on electricity costs to our customers. Furthermore, Mitsubishi Electric Cooling and Heating offers the most advanced technology allowing customers to enjoy more precise comfort in one or more rooms while saving on energy bills and contributing to a greener planet. Because our systems allow you to control the temperature in individual rooms, you avoid the energy waste of having to cool or heat rooms you are not using.”

Mr Savage was an owner/operator of a HVAC business in South Africa and really believes in Mitsubishi as a quality product.
