SUNDAY, OCTOBER 7: Bermuda finished the weather-affected World Amateur Team Championship in Turkey in 51st place.
With the battle for the Eisenhower Trophy reduced to 54 holes, the island's trio of Will Haddrell, Fraser Hunt and Jarryd Dillas fought hard on the final day but could not improve on their day two standing of 45th.
As on the first day when he shot two under, Dillas was again the leading man, shooting four over this time. Haddrell carded a third-round score of 12 over, while Hunt shot 13 over.
It left Bermuda 27 over for the tournament, which featured 72 countries. The final individual leaderboard saw Dillas as the top Bermudian, finishing tied 111th. Haddrell ended the event tied 147th and Hunt came tied 158th.
The trophy was won by the United States in some style, with the team signing for a score of 24 under, five shots clear of second-placed Mexico. South Korea, Germany and France were tied third on 15 under.
