Cup Match bowls me over more than World Cup
The emotion of the moment just took over. For those two days it feels like you are playing in the biggest game in the world.
The crowd is so close, people run on the pitch, plus there is the significance in Bermuda's history.
That's what makes Cup Match so unique - there is nothing like it anywhere in the world.
Emotional
I have had bigger moments and greater accomplishments in my career but my feelings at that particular moment were unbeatable.
To have come in as captain, in that situation, with the team in trouble and to have played the biggest innings of my life, it was very emotional.
You saw it all come out when I got the hundred.
After being out on 99 last year, it meant a lot to get there this time and to save the match.
The congratulations I received were absolutely overwhelming.
If you make runs in Cup Match you can make more money than you would on a whole tour with the national team.
I'm very grateful to everyone who supported me.
Reaching that milestone and holding on to the cup was the most important thing to me.
I was determined to go out as captain without giving up the trophy. If we had lost I think I would have begged the St George's management to let me stay on another year to get it back.
I said before the game that I didn't think Somerset had a chance to beat us - but I admit that when I came out to bat with five wickets down and still a couple of hours left to play, I was nervous. But I did what I had to do. I thought, 'This is my time, there is no way I'm getting out.'
Win
When we got to 20 overs left and we needed six an over, I thought we could go for the win.
Rodney Trott was well set. I was hitting the ball well and I was ready to go for it. They kept bowling the spinners and I felt like there were runs on offer.
But we had a major setback when Rodney got out.
Delyone Borden isn't the type of player who can start playing aggressively from the word go and we had to change our strategy. It was a really good game overall. I was surprised they didn't bowl Jordan DeSilva a bit more. I kept asking him, 'Is your arm broken or something?'
We were surprised to see them keep bowling the spinners.
We were quite happy with that because there were always runs on offer.[[In-content Ad]]
