Clarification of June public holiday
FRIDAY, JUNE 4: The public is advised that while the Annual Parade to observe the Birthday of Her Majesty, The Queen will take place on Saturday, June 12, 2010, this day is not a public holiday – nor is Monday, June 14, 2010 a public holiday.
The only public holiday in the month of June is National Heroes Day, which will be observed on Monday, June 21, 2010.
The public is also advised of the remaining public holidays for 2010:
- National Heroes Day - Monday 21 June
- Emancipation Day - Thursday 29 July
- Somers Day - Friday 30 July
- Labour Day - Monday 6 September
- Remembrance Day - Thursday 11 November
- Christmas Day - Saturday 25 December (Government Offices closed on Monday 27 December)
- Boxing Day - Sunday 26 December (As Boxing Day falls on a Sunday, by virtue of the Public Holidays Act 1947, Tuesday 28 December will be kept as the public holiday)
