City announces more weekend road closures
Starting on the evening of Friday October 29 from 7:00pm to Sunday October 31 2010 at 7:00pm, King Street between Church Street and Spurling’s Hill will be reduced to one lane of traffic for commuters leaving Hamilton. Reid Street and Cavendish Road will be accessible to traffic travelling out of Hamilton from King Street.
Reid Street, between King and Court Streets will be accessible to businesses and for emergency vehicles from King Street.
Access to East Broadway will be via King Street south.
The following streets will be closed to traffic beginning at 7:00pm on Friday October 29, 2010:
Spurling’s Hill from East Broadway for all westbound traffic.
Cavendish Road will be closed to westbound traffic between Cavendish Road parking lot and Shelton Road, except for local access. Traffic traveling into Hamilton along Middle Road should divert at Shelton Road, Montpelier Road, Cork Screw Hill or Shelton Road.
Information about these traffic changes will be available on the City of Hamilton website at www.cityhall.bm.
