Chili Cook Off to raise money for bursaries
WEDNESDAY, NOV. 7: Some like it hot and those who do should head to Masterworks for its Chili Cook Off this Friday.
The gallery is holding the event to raise money for it to provide education bursaries for children who might not otherwise be able to attend.
So far there are seven groups entered and members of the public are invited to either enter a pot or just to attend for dinner. This year’s judges are Dale Butler and chef Fred Ming. Entry is $20 for adults and $10 for children. There will be pinata and arts and crafts for the children. Tickets are available to purchase by calling 299-4000.
The event runs at Masterworks from 5:30pm to 8pm.
