THURSDAY, OCTOBER 20: The Carnival Glory made its first-ever stop in Bermuda on Wednesday as it put into port at King’s Wharf in Dockyard.
Terry Lister, Minister of Transport, gave a plaque and a plate to captain Guiseppe Giusa welcoming the Glory on its inaugural visit.
In turn, the captain presented Mr Lister with a replica copy of the Glory.
Members from the Ministry of Transport and WEDCO received a tour of the ship after a welcoming reception was held.
The ship brought over 3,000 visitors to Bermuda as well as 1,180 crew.
