Cann batted way down at number eight yesterday but still contributed Bermuda's top score of 35.
But coach Gus Logie said he would move further up and could possibly be used as an opener to give Bermuda a flying start.
The all-rounder has traditionally been used as a late-order big hitter but with four of the top six out for ducks yesterday, he is one of the few batsmen in any type of form.
Logie said: "We'll move him up the order. He'll definitely bat a little bit higher than he did today."
He added that increased fielding restrictions in the first 20-overs for this game could prompt him to use Cann as a pinch-hitting opener.
But the coach insisted that all the tactical changes in the world would make no difference unless his players batted with more patience and application than they did yesterday.
"I think a score of about 160, 170 would be a reasonable total on this pitch. The chances are the team that gets that score will win the game.
"It's a matter of just building partnerships and batting out the overs. If we can bat 50 overs the chances are we'll get a decent total."
Fast bowler George O'Brien is unavailable again for today's game, but is expecetd to play against Holland next week. This leaves Logie no choice but to pick the same 11 for there are no reserves.[[In-content Ad]]
