The selected Charities to benefit from the funds raised this year are:

n Meals On Wheels

n Big Brothers & Sisters

n Windreach

n Masterworks

n National Dance Foundation

n RBT Education Awards

He said: "We are of course very proud to be able to assist these dedicated Charities".

Talbot added: "It never cease to amaze me how the Ross "Blackie" Talbot Charity Classic grows year after year the success of which can be directly attributed to the commitment from our valued sponsors, Classic participants, our volunteers and of course my committee.

Philip Butterfield, CEO HSBC Bermuda, the lead sponsor for the event said, "I know I say it every year, but it is true, we are extremely proud to be in a position to sponsor the RBT Charity Classic.

"I have said repeatedly that we consider education to be one of the most important needs in our community, now more than ever.

"We also certainly firmly support this year's addition of helping youth at risk and. of course, assisting our seniors, two vital causes in today's environment.

"They are extremely important issues that warrant attention."
