BIFF film 'a comedic gem'
Writer and director Lena Dunham’s independent film, coming of age tale, Tiny Furniture, has film critics comparing her to Woody Allen.
It tells the story of Aura who returns from college to her artist mother’s hip loft apartment with nothing but a useless Film Theory degree, 375 hits on her YouTube page, a boyfriend who left her to ‘find himself’ at the Burning Man festival and a dying hamster between her legs.
The film screens at the BUEI Tradewinds Auditorium on Thursday, August 19 at 6.30pm. Tickets are available at the door from 5.30pm. The film running time is 98 minutes. For reservations and all inquiries email [email protected] or call 293 3456. The film appropriate for 18-years-old and plus.
