FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 25: Award winning film Tyrannosaur will be screened twice this Sunday due to popular demand.
The film, being shown by BIFF Flix, won both the Sundance Film Festival’s World Cinema Jury Prize for Breakout Performances and the World Cinema Directing Awards and last month it picked up seven nominations for the Moet British Independent Film Awards.
It tells the story of Joseph (Peter Mllan, Boy A), an unemployed widower with a drinking problem who is crippled by his own furious anger.
Hannah (Olivia Coleman, Hott Fuzz) is a Christian worker at a charity shop who appears both respectable and happy.
Hannah appears as Joseph’s guardian angel yet Joseph emerges as her unlikely saviour.
Tickets are available in advance on www.tickets.biff.bm or at the door on the day from 4pm. Tickets are $9 for BIFF members and $13 for non-members.
