Bermuda Triangle Cultural Festival on Saturday
A free public event - the Bermuda Triangle Cultural Festival will be held on Saturday, June 5, on Angle Street East from 2pm – 7pm.
The Bermuda Triangle Cultural Festival is being organized by the Angle Street Community Association that was formed by their resident Member of Parliament, the Hon. Dale D. Butler, JP, MP.
The association currently has 12 Committee members - eight of whom are over the age of 80 years - who have organized a variety of activities for the year.
The Mount Zion Choir, the Ex Artillery Elite Majorettes, the North Village Band, and the Alpha Phi Alpha Steppers will be some of the highlights of this festival. In addition, a number of seniors will also be honoured for their contributions to the community. The festival will also feature a number of vendors.
The festival marks the first time that a community street event has been planned by the Angle Street Community Association and the public is invited to show their support.
This event is being supported by the Department of Community and Cultural Affairs. The street decorations of flags, trees and flowers have been provided by the Corporation of Hamilton and the Ministry of Environment.[[In-content Ad]]
