The Africans will play a four-day Intercontinental Shield Match followed by two day-night 50-over encounters and a 20-20 clash.
It will be the first time Bermuda has played a limited overs international on home turf since the West Indies visited in 2004.
Last year's four-day encounters against Scotland and Namibia were the first home internationals of any kind since 2004. But enthusiasm for the longer format of the game was limited with only a handful of spectators turning out.
By scheduling the four-day game during the week (Monday August 17 - Thursday August 20) and the two 50-over matches at the weekend with the 20-20 on a Monday evening, the Bermuda Cricket Board is hoping to draw larger crowds.
Reginald Pearman, BCB President said: "I am pleased to welcome the Uganda team to Bermuda in our 400th year. It should be an interesting series of games and it is great that our squad has the opportunity to compete in the new Intercontinental Cup format."
The two 50-over matches will not be official One-Day-Internationals as Bermuda lost its ODI status in the World Cup Qualifiers in South Africa.
But if the match between these two sides for ninth and tenth place in that tournament is anything to go by it should still be a cracker.
On that occasion David Hemp smashed a magnificent unbeaten century and Stephen Outerbridge notched a hundred as they chased down a massive total of 352 for a record breaking win.
Their had been fireworks all round with Uganda boasting some spectacular hitters of their own in a dominant middle order.
Frank Msubuga, wearing a Viv Richards style cloth cap in preference to a helmet, clubbed 98 from 63 deliveries, while the more circumspect Bibodi Nehul stroked 109 at just less than a run-a-ball.
The four-day match between Bermuda and Uganda will be the opening skirmish in the new ICC Intercontinental Shield.
The tournament, which also features Oman and Denmark, was inaugurated at the suggestion of BCB chief Neil Speight to allow extra competition for the countries left out of the ICC Intercontinental Cup - world cricket's flagship tournament for associate countries.
The one-day matches and the 20-20 match are friendlies.
