Bermuda Sun seeks photo editor/web assistant
The Bermuda Sun needs a multi-skilled individual to process and archive our digital photographs and to upload stories and other data to our various web platforms.
The successful applicant will have practical experience with digital still and/or video photography and with photo editing software such as Photoshop. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work at speed under pressure are essential.
Advanced computer skills are required. Training will be provided on our various web platforms, but applicants must be able to learn quickly and troubleshoot software issues.
The successful applicant must also be prepared to handle the customer service needs of our web users. Patience and excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a busy newsroom and to play a key role in the visual presentation of the news.
