Children attending coach Roderick Spencer's Basketball Clinic last week worked on ball handling, passing, catching, low post moves, shooting and defense.

Last week's Players of the Day were Melissa Fiddick and Alexander Williams.

Coach Spencer said: "Melissa got knocked around a lot this week, but kept getting up and working hard to help her team. She even made a left-handed layup in a game."

Spencer added: "Alex was just all over the place. He's a little kid, but plays like he's seven feet tall. he passed very well and played some great defense."

The end of the clinic MVPs will get a trophy, cell phone and $50 gift voucher from Upper Crust Pizza.

This week the campers will be working on various skills. The guest speaker will be senator Wayne Caines.[[In-content Ad]]
