Bascome and Smith lead St. George's to victory

Under 13

St. George's/Saltus

Jonte Smith scored 39 and Onias Bascome made 36 as St. George's trounced Saltus by 140 runs.

St. George's batted first and scored 159 for 3. Thomas Patterson was Saltus' top bowler with one for two in one over. Dage Minors took three for three for St. George's as they bowled Saltus out for 19 in reply.

Western Stars/West End

Rahim Steede took four for seven as Western Stars beat West End Warriors by six wickets.

West End batted first and made 66 all out, with Justin Donawa the top scorer on 23.

Then Tre Manders scored 27 not out as Western Stars knocked off the target with six overs in hand, Kamal Easton was the top bowler for West End with three for six.

In other action Somerset beat Warwick Reds by five wickets and Flatts beat Warwick Whites by nine wickets.

Under 10

Warwick/West End

Alex Dore scored 30 to help Warwick Reds to a ten run win over West End Primary School.

Dore's knock helped his team to 80 for 4. Lindon Landy was top bowler for West End with three for one in two overs.

Covante Tankard made 19 in West End's reply but they fell ten runs short of their target.

Saltus Blue/DRC Gold

Saltus Blue beat Devonshire Rec Gold by nine wickets with Adam Hall the top scorer on 23.

Hall also took one for three as Saltus limited Rec to 38 for seven. They then knocked off the runs for the loss of just one wicket.

BHS/Port Royal

Jaylynn Hines scored the first six of the season, but her player of the game performance could not stop the BHS girls from going down by 36 runs to Port Royal.

Hines also took three catches and scored 16 runs. Port Royal batted first and made 66 for six before bowling BHS out for 30.

DRC Greens/Saltus Reds

Rai Sampson took two wickets for one run and Shamre Ming scored 14 not out as Devonshire Rec Greens beat Saltus Reds by six wickets.

Andrew Forgesson top scored with 15 not out as Saltus made 32 all out before Ming and Machi Battersbee (7 not out) took Rec to their victory target.

St. George's/Warwick

Nzari Paynter took two for six as St. George's beat Warwick by two runs. The Eastenders batted first and scored 24 with Daeien Lewis the top scorer on 10. Then Paynter did the damage with the ball as St George's bowled out Warwick for 22.

Under 16

Somerset/Cleveland

Joshua Gilbert took two for 36 and scored 31 runs as Somerset beat Cleveland by six wickets in a closely contested game at the Royal Naval field.

Tymon Daniels made 33 not out as Cleveland batted first and scored 129 for nine in their 30 overs. But Somerset knocked off the runs with an over to spare to claim the victory.

Damion Collins bowled a triple-wicket maiden over and Salia Burns claimed five scalps as St David's bowlers knocked Devonshire Rec over for 61 to set up a nine-wicket victory.

Corey Richardson made 26 not out and Shea Pitcher 21 not out as the islanders knocked off the victory target in less than ten overs.[[In-content Ad]]
