Are you ready to party every day?

Is Hamilton’s nightlife dead?

Not any more, because Unité Event Marketing & Promotions plan to breathe new life into every summer night. They’ve created a series called ‘Endless Summer Nights’, an event for every night of the week.

Unité founder and promoter Belcario Thomas is more than excited about the upcoming summer events. He said: “It’s an encouraging time for Bermuda as many efforts are being made to re-vitalize Bermuda’s nightlife, and I’m excited to be a part of that re-birth.

“I’m grateful to the outgoing Mayor Lawson Mapp, incoming Mayor Jay Bluck and Alderman David Dunkley for their ambitions to breathe new life into a city starved for more quality nightlife, without their support, certainly there’d be continued event stagnation and less possibilities.”

Party on the Pier

“As the Minister of Tourism, Dr. Brown has spearheaded the initiative to revive Tourism’s nightlife offering, there is certainly an air of excitement, anticipation, and renewed hope for Bermuda.”

The first event kicks off tonight, at Pier 6 with the launch party of Happy Hour at The Pier from 5-11pm. For the launch party only, from 5 until 7pm, there will be an open wine bar. The event will feature Unité resident DJs, guest and international DJs, and rotating surprise live entertainment.

You can also enjoy some of the least expensive drinks in town, with occasional specialty drinks and Martinis, as well as complimentary canapes and nibbles and a Sushi station coming soon. The Happy Hour at The Pier will take place every Friday.

Unite is also hosting another party — the Center of Gravity Full Moon Party at Horseshoe Bay next weekend. The Full Moon Party is the first of two beach parties, the second taking place all day at Horseshoe Bay on June 4. Party-goers can purchase tickets for one party for $25, or a wristband for both for $40. The Full Moon Party, billed as a full moon experience like no other, takes place on May 13 beginning at 8pm. The DJ Line up includes Dirkistan Freedom Fighters, DJ Collyboy of Frisky, Double S, DJ Chubb, Spanish Town and Shock n Lust. Also, with the purchase of your Center of Gravity — Full Moon Party pass, you can win a trip to the Caribbean 2006 biggest full moon party of the year.

The second party, Meet You There, takes place on June 4 from 11am to 1am. You can party all day and dance into the night at the newly created Village at Horseshoe Bay and also enjoy a fusion of specialty cocktails, film, fashion, and dance.

Tickets for the parties are available at: Sasch & Stefanel, Bermuda Women’s Rugby Group and The Bermuda Volleyball Association Women’s National Team.

Information on Unite’s Endless Summer nights are also available on their website, www.unite.bm.

Thomas adds, “Aren’t you tired of hearing there’s nothing on tonight, and Bermuda’s so boring? Well this summer you have choices. We’ve teamed up with some of the city’s hottest venues to showcase their stuff to make sure locals, local residents, and tourists converge, mingle, hang out and enjoy a spiced up Bermuda.
