20-20 squad named
Glamorgan skipper David Hemp is the only addition to a squad packed with promising youngsters.
Vice captain Rodney Trott, who performed well with bat and ball against Canada and Scotland, Stephen Outerbridge, who scored his first international hundred on Sunday and wicket-keeper batsman Jekon Edness will be among the key players for Bermuda, while the economical wicket-to-wicket seam bowling of Stefan Kelly could also prove valuable in the shorter form of the game.
There was no recall for big-hitters like Charlie Marshall or Lionel Cann with the selectors sticking with youth.
National Coach, Gus Logie said: "This new look squad that exhibited a good fighting attitude and approach during our tour of Canada and the game against Scotland is now looking forward to yet another opportunity to further enhance its growing reputation as we challenge ourselves to continue maturing on the world stage.
"The development of our younger players and the transition of many of the U-19 players into the senior national team is a heartwarming experience and I look forward to their continued improvement at the international level.
"In our last Intercontinental Cup game we had eight players who were 25 or younger so the national programme definitely has a silver lining."
Bermuda will be up against Scotland and Ireland in Group A with Kenya, Holland and Canada contesting Group B.
The top two in each group will progress to the semi-finals with the winners competing in the final.
Perhaps more crucially the two semi-final losers will contest a third and fourth place play-off that will determine which is the third and final qualifier for the World Cup to be held in England in 2009.
