A company provided blankets, clothes and hot meals this past Saturday at Point Pleasant Park.
A spokesperson said: “During this period of social and economic decline, and at a time when there are so many families in our community who are finding it difficult to meet their basic needs, Lombard Odier Darier Hentsch (Bermuda) Limited believes that it takes the effort of everyone to address the growing demands of the less fortunate in our community.”
The management and staff of Lombard Odier showed its support this past Saturday, when it hosted its first ‘Share the Love’ campaign.
A spokesperson said: “Staff members took time from their busy schedules to distribute free blankets, jackets, socks and soup to the more vulnerable in our community. In anticipation of this event, posters were displayed and flyers were distributed.
Charmaine Tucker, president and CEO of Lombard Odier (Bermuda) said “We thank our sponsors, Fourways Inn and The Corporation of Hamilton, for their donation in support of this event, which is a demonstration not only of our financial commitment to community development, but also evidence of our individual commitment outside of the four walls of our organization.”
