It looks as if Mary Lee might have changed her vacation plans.

The great white shark looked as if she would be spending some time in Bermuda, but she appears to have veered off.

At 8:19am she was 36 miles south of Bermuda — having been just 21 miles north east of the island yesterday.

The 3,456 pound shark, like most of Bermuda’s visitors, had come down from the east coast of North America.

Mary Lee has garnered a lot of attention in Bermuda since she started approaching the island.

The 16-footer was tracked via satellite; her tag transmits a signal every time she breaks the water’s surface.

Mary Lee was tagged off Cape Cod last September as part of the Ocearch Project in the US.

Ocearch, a non-profit organization, tracks great white sharks across the globe.
