The Coldwell Banker Home Show is a one-stop shop for everything including the kitchen sink.
Scheduled for next weekend, the Home Show brings together a variety of firms to help homeowners and would-be homeowners find the best deals.
Susan Thompson, agency manager for the Coldwell Banker Bermuda Realty, told the Bermuda Sun: “This is one of the largest events on the island for the public at no cost. We usually have about 3,500 people attend during that day and a half.
“We are excited that we are fully subscribed again this year and we have over 60 companies that have signed up.”
She said many of the companies would have specials for those in attendance.
“There are going to be some new products on display by them. There is an array of products for just about anybody.”
Brian Madeiros, president of Coldwell Banker Bermuda Realty, said: “We are focused on community involvement and finding ways to help organisations through volunteering and non-monetary donations.
“Difficult economic times have impacted everyone’s pocket book but you don’t have to have money to give back.”
Coldwell Banker Bermuda Realty will showcase some of the groups they have worked with this year including the Centre on Philanthropy; Age Concern; and the Coalition for the Protection of Children.
The real estate firm has been supporting Pembroke Parish Community Feeding Programmes this winter. Each Friday (December thru March), staff are permitted to wear blue jeans if they bring in a non-perishable food item for donation. Since the 2013 Home Show falls on a Friday, Coldwell Banker Bermuda Realty will also have a food donation bin at their registration booth in the Blue Zone at the annual Home Show and would like to encourage exhibitors and visitors to the home show to bring a non-perishable food item for donation to this worthy cause.
Ms Thompson said the Yellow Zone area will feature Age Concern.
“This is the second year we have had the 50+ Lifestyle Showcase that is sponsored by Age Concern. That has a number of properties that are geared towards our senior population or people who will be seniors.
“They also have a number of activities they sponsor throughout the day as well. Last year they had some cooking demonstrations, and some dancing.”
