Bacardi will be hoping to add to its medal haul at the Miami Rum Renaissance in in April.
The company has won eight awards over the past three years, including three golds.
In 2008 it picked up gold for both Bacardi Select and Bacardi 8, but it also won bronze for Bacardi Gold, Bacardi Solera and Bacardi Anejo.
Bacardi Gold won bronze again in 2011 while in 2008 Bacardi Oakhart earned gold with Bacardi 8 picking up silver.
The company will have four entries this time around: Bacardi 8, Bacardi Gold, Bacardi Oakheart and Bacardi Superior.
The Rum Renaissance is scheduled for April 15 to 21. Besides Bacardi, Barritt’s Ginger Beer will be an exhibitor at the festival.
The rums are grouped and judged in categories of white, gold, aged, old aged, premium aged, dark, spiced, flavoured and overproof. They are then awarded gold best in class, gold, silver or bronze medals.
