Christmas waste collection dates announced

Christmas Collection:

The Department of Waste Management, Ministry of Public Works, today advised that due to the Christmas Holiday all West End garbage will be collected on Monday, December 23rd and Saturday, December 28th.

East End garbage will be collected on Tuesday December 24th and Friday December 27th.

West End recycling will be collected on Saturday, December 28th and East End recycling will be collected on Friday, December 27th.

New Year Collection:

West End garbage will be collected on Monday, December 30th and Thursday, January 2nd, 2014. East End garbage will be collected on Tuesday, December 31st and Friday January 3rd, 2014.

West End recycling will be collected on Thursday, January 9th, 2014 and East End recycling will be collected on Friday, January 10th 2014.

The Department of Waste Management strongly urges residents to comply with the holiday garbage and recycle collection schedules.
