The event was held in Hamilton’s newest event facility, Pier 6, on December 7th and performers included Heather Nova, Glass Onion Band, Bones, Working Title, The Filipino Association Dancers, Sonique Sanctuary, Sultans of Swing, D.I.A. (Devil’s Isle Audio), Joy T Barnum and Milton Raposo Duo, Jessica Rendora, DJ Choice and Ed Christopher.
Suzie Pewter of the Whitfield Group commented:
“Thanks must go to all of our fantastic Bermuda entertainers for contributing their time to the Philippine relied fund. Our thanks must also go to Great Sound, Goslings, Andrew Chamberlain and Ed Christopher for their charitable support. We could not have done this without their help."
Rowena Comber, Vice President for the Association of Filipinos in Bermuda added:
“December 7th was a night to remember! The event was a great success - everybody I spoke to had so much fun! The money raised from this event will make a massive difference to the rehabilitation of families still suffering in the Philippines. The Association would like to thank everyone who attended for their amazing support and for those involved in the event, especially Mrs Suzie Pewter and Mr Chamberlain for taking the initiative in helping our folks back home.”
