Driving a cement truck was a big part of Shadeed Givens life until the construction industry slowed down.

Mr Givens siwtched things up and  started making cedar jewellery three years ago and couldn’t be happier. 

“Construction was slow and I had to find something to do. I had these long piece of cedar sticks. I decided to start making some earrings. I was out of work and need some work so I went to work with cedar.”
