Botelho Wood names its new partner

Jason Mackertich has been appointed a partner with Botelho Wood Architects. He joined Botelho Wood in August 2004 as an employee in the position of senior architectural technologist.  He was subsequently appointed as an associate in 2009.

A spokesperson for the firm said Mr Mackertich “brings a wealth of knowledge of the Bermudian building industry to his role, having over 14 years experience in Bermuda.  He is an engaging and enthusiastic individual whom many clients have requested as the lead principal on their projects. Jason is currently heading up a number of our Fairmont Hamilton Princess projects”.

He worked on a number of significant overseas projects in the UK including Bristol & West Bank headquarters, Bentalls Department Store and Parcelforce headquarters where he gained considerable practical experience on both residential and commercial developments. 

Germano Botelho, founding member of the firm, said in a press release: “The addition of Jason first as an employee, then as an associate and now as a partner, has proven to be a sound business decision as well as the perfect complement to the Botelho Wood team, which prides itself on customer service and a team approach to all projects.”
