The island’s sand and gravel stocks have been replenished this week thanks to the UBC Miami.
And there’s more to come next week when the general cargo vessel heads back to Bermuda again.
The ship arrived in St George’s on Saturday from Jamaica and used its on-board cranes to unload the materials on to the dock at Penno’s Wharf.
The Netherlands-flagged vessel left the island on Monday bound for Nova Scotia where she will reload and return to the Old Town next week.
The sand and the gravel brought in by the ship will be used in a range of Government construction projects over the next few months.
There’s the usual cruise ships in today and over the weekend.
The Breakaway and
the Summit make their 14th and 16th trips of the year respectively of the year.
While the Norwegian Dawn is back in again on Sunday.
Finally the Bermuda Islander is in Hamilton tomorrow and will be followed into the capital on Sunday by the Oleander.
