Top award for BELCO

Bermuda Electric Light Company (BELCO) has been named overall Best Performing Utility at the 2013 CARILEC Engineeering and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Conference at the Hyatt Hotel, Port of Spain, Trinidad.

This is CARILEC’s premier technocal forum for engineers in power system planning and operation.

BELCO’s award was part of a series of Benchmark Awards aimed at encouraging regional electricity utilities to improve their efficiency, reliability, cost
effectiveness and productivity as they strive to achieve regional best practice in align with international industry standards. n
