Is it a phone or a web browser?
So what do you use your smartphone for?
According to a survey done by European Telecom giant 02, it’s a good bet that using it to talk on the phone isn’t one of the top three things you do with it.
It isn’t even number four.
That’s right, we buy phones to do lots of things, but it’s primary purpose is now for browsing the Internet.
On average, smartphone users now spend more than two hours a day using their devices, but just 12 minutes is spent talking on the phone.
The number one use?
Browsing the Internet at 24.81 minutes per day.
