Lecture: Getting what you want
Ever wondered how to get what you want?
Dr Mario Moussa of the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania will be giving a lecture on Wednesday, May 8 at 6pm at the Fairmont Hamilton Princess on ‘Negotiation: How to get what you want’.
Dr Moussa teaches negotiation, influence, strategy, change, and corporate culture.
Richard Hillen, president of the Penn & Wharton Bermuda Alumni Association, said in a press release: “Negotiation is not about me versus you. Often people want and value different things, which leads to opportunities for both parties in a negotiation to get what they want.
“Everyone uses negotiation, but few people have really studied it. We have organized this free lecture to share with the people of Bermuda a sample of the latest thinking from an expert at the world’s leading business school.”
Adrian Jones, president of the Penn Alumni Interview Committee in Bermuda, said: “One of the most popular classes at Penn is a semester-long class on negotiation skills, so this is a rare taste of what one could study in great depth at Penn.”
