Thousands of people today descended on the Botanical Gardens for the final day of the annual agricultural show.
Good weather brought out the crowds, who enjoyed a feast of entertainment from drum corps and show jumping to face painting for children.
Superintendent Sandra Robertson, in charge of the policing effort at the Paget park, said this afternoon: “So far, it’s been very peaceful – the crowds started to get bigger around 1pm.”
She added the show had passed without any major incidents, with Saturday seeing one diabetic woman who collapsed and required hospital treatment and one lost child, who was reunited with its parents.
Supt Robertson said: “Everybody’s just enjoying themselves – the weather is good and everybody’s happy.”
Among the food stalls was one run by the Bermuda Regiment Junior Leaders, who are using the event to help raise funds for a trip to visit a sister unit in Canada later this year.
Show-goers enjoyed exhibits of agricultural produce and the horses, pigs and goats on display were a hit with young and old alike.
Among the other exhibits were a room devoted to roses, with displays including a picture frame filled with the flowers in a variety of colours, and traditional Bermuda kites, as well as displays from schools, including arts and crafts and a green energy project by CedarBridge Academy.
