A concert in Boston by Bermudian reggae artist Collie Buddz is still due to go ahead tomorrow night, despite the unfolding drama around the marathon bombings.
He is scheduled to perform at the House of Blues, Boston, where a concert planned for tonight by Joy Formidable has been postponed.
The city has been on lockdown today as police hunt down a bombing suspect, whose brother and alleged accomplice died after a shoot-out with police overnight.
The House of Blues Boston told us: “As of now, show is still on but we'll be sure to announce if anything changes.”
Buddz’s gig, due to begin at 6pm tomorrow, will include a performance by special guest Cris Cab and New Kingston. It is the fourth date on his Light It Up Tour of the US and he is playing in Philadelphia tonight.
The House of Blues, Boston is located near Fenway Park. We reached out to Collie Buddz for comment but were unable to make contact.
• Bermuda Sun coverage of the Light It Up Tour is sponsored by Heineken
