Bermuda’s Emerging Professionals (BEPRO) will be holding its first Lunch N’ Learn of the year on Tuesday, April 23 at the Chamber of Commerce from 12pm to 1pm.

A light lunch will be provided.

The event, titled “Your Rights in the Workplace — Tips From the Pros”, will feature a well-rounded selection of expert guest speakers from Amnesty International Bermuda, the Human Rights Commission, the Department of Labour & Training, and Trott & Duncan; providing a solid background for the topic at hand.

The main objective of this upcoming Lunch N’ Learn is to educate attendees about their basic rights within the workplace and the relevant legislation as it pertains to them.

Each speaker will be given time to present on their topic, which will be followed by a Q&A.

The PR Representative for BEPRO said in a press release: “We (BEPRO) deem this particular Lunch N’ Learn to be one of great importance for all professionals, regardless of field/industry, as we are all doing our best to cope with the current struggles of our local economy and organizational changes.

“With so many unknowns in the workplace right now, the one thing we should all seek to learn more about is our rights.

“BEPRO encourages its members, and non-members alike, to come out and hear what the experts have to say while also taking advantage of the opportunity to obtain answers to their questions.”
