REV. MARIA SEAMAN
Miserable welcome back to Bermuda in Customs area
There is so much that is possible in the world, and I believe it begins with each person becoming that possibility.
Fulfil God's purpose for you, not someone else's dream
Bermuda, be careful of those who want to run your life according to what you can do for them. Be very wary of that person who loves to use your gift so that they can look good.
God will reveal the purpose for which you were born
At some point and time in your life, if you are not living according to the will of God, God may show up in His magnificence and encourage you to move from where you are to where He would have you to be.
Some need a 'burning bush moment' to find direction
God is always speaking. And the constant question is, “Are you listening?” The proof that one is hearing and listening is that your life and your destiny are no longer about what you desire; it becomes what God desires of you.
Moses thought he wasn't the man for the job, but God did
He wasn't being modest or pretentious; Moses actually did not think he was the man for the job. Moses doubted that he was able to be the leader sent in to cause the tyrannical leadership of the Pharaoh to buckle and allow the people of Israel to go free.

'Rending' of temple veil an attack on hypocrisy and elitism
As the Saviour of the world hung on the cross and experienced utter darkness for the first time, there was some major work going on in the dark.
Tremors at Calvary did not convince people to change
Rev. Maria Seaman: They turned away from Jesus at the Cross of Calvary, I beseech you not to turn away today.
Hold on to hope is the central message of The Cross
Maria Seaman: Life has its ups and downs. Yet, if you hold onto hope, you will experience the upside of the Cross of Calvary. Yes, in a few days after the negatives of the Cross, you will in fact experience the glory of the Cross.
Elijah, by operating in fear, showed a weakness in faith
Elijah was the mouthpiece of God. God used Elijah to perform great miracles. Yet, in chapter 19 of 1 Kings that same Elijah was riddled with feelings of despair.
Faith, not logic, will lead you on the path to destiny
Maria Seaman: As a Christian your world is shaped by faith and not by facts. The moment a Christian begins to become logical and intellectual about faith, he or she eradicates the need for faith.

No point in praying without actually doing something
Maria Seaman: Prayer is about having a relationship with God, who is not surprised to hear from you, but considers your latest conversation with Him to be graced with a particular need.
If you must rebuke, make sure there is love behind it
Maria Seaman: As Christians, you are challenged to speak to the issues of sin, while ensuring that the one committing the sin understands that your love for him or her desires the best for him or her.
IMPOSSIBLE SITUATION? GOD HAS THE ANSWER
Avoid the seven crucial errors that limit possibility
Maria Seaman: God will turn an "it cannot be done" into "it is done". This very characteristic or nature of God can be seen as you take a look at the miracle of The Red Sea.
Church hypocrites used as justification for non-belief
Maria Seaman: Somehow folks seem to believe that they are justified in not becoming a part of a wonderful church because of the presence of a minority of hypocrites.
Make sure your standard of worship is pleasing to God
Maria Seaman: God seeks those who will worship Him in spirit and in truth. God prefers those who come to worship with clean hands and a pure heart.
