REV. MARIA SEAMAN

Why the loving touch of a parent reflects that of God

Maria Seaman: Parents, be sure to give the best of who you are to your child. In that way, your child will mature and develop to give you the best of who he or she has become. A parent's touch is a life-lasting touch of love.

Parents need to secure a future for their children

Maria Seaman: Do not let your child fall victim to what is going on all around you. God is greater than your circumstances and God will cause you to see life in your child, speak life into your child and secure life for your child.

Embrace the work Jesus did for you and begin life again

Maria Seaman: This Good Friday, celebrate and honour that Jesus became a convict by taking on your sins. Then celebrate that He (Jesus) paid the price and now you are free.

Jesus is the living bread from Heaven to break and share

Rev Maria Seaman: God will take your nothing and give you everything you need to fulfill the purpose He has predesigned for your life.

Celebrate childbirth as if it has just happened

Maria Seaman: Can you pull back a past blessing and celebrate as if it had just happened? That will determine whether you are truly able to RE-joice.

Ensure next generation does not repeat past mistakes

Maria Seaman: Every generation must be challenged to make new decisions. That is, the choices and decisions made by the youth or young adults must be made for the betterment of their own future.

We need clean hands to avoid the taint of hypocrisy

Maria Seaman: One of the most consistent and real challenges of the church is to operate with clean hands and a pure heart... when the church operates with integrity, that it can avoid being found guilty of hypocrisy.

Leaders must unify society for us to receive God's blessings

Maria Seaman: Obeying the voice or instructions of God will always yield bountiful blessings. When the King is blessed, the nation ought to be blessed.

Once you have found peace prepare for Satan's attack

Rev. Maria Seaman: Have you ever noticed that after your greatest moments of triumph, joy, and celebration, the enemy comes in like a flood?

A desperate prayer will get a response from heaven

Maria Seaman: Life can present you with all sorts of challenges that can tempt you to disengage and have a 'don't care' attitude. Life can sometimes make you want to give up life.

Give God the glory for all favours bestowed upon you

Maria Seaman: Depending on your reaction to favour and wealth, you will either set up a good future for your children, or you will rob your descendants of a good future.

Handle wealth by keeping a grateful heart towards God

Rev. Maria Seaman: The more things change, the more they remain the same. As it was in the days of King Hezekiah, so it is today.

Reconciliation is being united with God in His purpose

Maria Seaman: The future is great. The possibilities are endless. Reconcile to God and you will do greater works than those done in the past.

Will you set your children a shining path to follow?

Rev. Maria Seaman: Parents be very careful how you handle the first 12 years of your child's life.  That is the time you are creating how he or she will govern the rest of his or her life.

Your child's future depends on their diversity of choices

Maria Seaman: Would it not be better to place before the child the most positive choices so that when he or she does choose, the outcome will benefit him or her and the community?
