Dear Sir,I read with interest the daily of August 14 where Public Safety Minister David Burch urged the Governor to do more for the Police.
Has Mr. Hayward forgiven whites for what they did to his father?
Dear Sir, I was very surprised at the content of the Bermuda Sun article of September 5 by Stuart Hayward.

Letter: It's not Rolfe's fault
Dear Sir,I have attended all Bermuda Race Relations Initiative sessions and while it is true that the number of white people attending has declined I would not attribute the cause to Rolfe Commissiong.
Letter: Crime 'higher under UBP'
Dear Sir,In an article in the Royal Gazette (September 21, 2007) under the heading "Dunkley: PLP is failing us on crime" either Mr. Dunkley thinks the electorate is ignorant or he is delusional, my guess is that there is a little of both.

There is no question that inhaled smoke is problematic. The question of whether incarceration is an appropriate response for people using cannabis is the point I wish to make.
Letter - Thanks for backing the art gallery
We are writing, on behalf of the Bermuda Society of the Arts (BSoA), to thank you and your readers for the generous support given to the BSoA since our notice of eviction from the Hamilton City Hall and Arts Centre became public knowledge.
Letter - Soften the penalties on drugs and create a safer society
I believe two major factors have contributed to Bermuda's steady rise in crime over the past decade. Firstly, a considerable increase in GDP per capita.
