CHRISTOPHER FAMOUS
Life under OBA is one big gamble
Christopher Famous: It is clear that the Jetgate, Aka BDA crew, are attempting to force this whole gaming scandal across the OBA cabinet, supporters and the rest of Bermuda.
As parents we hold the key to unlocking children’s potential
Christopher Famous: We have our own personal responsibility for our children’s education. It does not matter whether they go to public or private school.
COMMENT / MESS WITH THE WORKERS — AND PAY THE PRICE
We will not back down in the fight for equality
Christopher Famous: To my fellow Bermudians of all shades, the same energy that we took to march and chant, we must take to help and educate one another. Once we show each other respect and love, no one can put us down.
OBA’s stance on gambling is hypocritical
Christopher Famous: We've been led to believe that the OBA's senior MPs are united on the issue of gambling - but is that really true?
Are you looking to invest down south?
Christopher Famous: St Kitts and Nevis are your typical Eastern Caribbean islands with friendly people, laid back and unhurried lifestyles, and almost everyone related to each other via blood or marriage.

I challenge the OBA to debate me
Christopher Famous: I hereby challenge MP Smith, to debate me publicly, one on one, on any issue about Bermuda.
There is much to learn from our St Kitts and Nevis roots
Christopher Famous: Approximately 50 to 60 per cent of born Bermudians descend from Kittitians or Nevisians.
The OBA is selling our birthright
Christopher Famous: Early in 2013, I wrote that the OBA will attempt to grant status by a number of means. I was accused of scare mongering and playing the race card.
Why air travel is such a drag
Christopher Famous: There was a time when I loved to travel but lately I have become a bit weary of all the hassles we go through just to get from one place to the other.
OBA’s ill-judged moves on education are telling
Christopher Famous: We have not forgotten the vague OBA promise to the unions in their MOU not to cut the size of the civil service. Apparently a MOU it isn’t much of a promise.

A New Year’s wish: let’s collaborate on a national vision
Christopher Famous: Statistics have recently caused a real stir both in the press and in Parliament.
Together, we can find the solutions
Christopher Famous: A year ago the PLP lost the election and with that, many Bermudians began to lose hope.
While needy moms fight over toys, tourism folk get $2,000 per meeting
Christopher Famous: I am simply at a loss to explain how the OBA can justify paying out $160,000 to folks who clearly 'have', whilst Bermudians 'have nots' are lining up to fight each other for food.
A $350 Christmas tree? No thanks
Christopher Famous: Maybe the OBA should consider the Christmas tree business as a form of revenue generation. They need only collect the trees after Christmas, hire folks throughout the year to water them and keep them alive for resale the following year.
It was a year of blunders but happy anniversary, OBA
Christopher Famous: I don’t recall any government anywhere, in recent history, having so many political disasters in one year [as the OBA government]. It is either outright arrogance or just lack of PR skills.
