Airport gate to be closed nightly
The gate at the entrance to the L.F. Wade International Airport located on Cahow Way will be closed from 2400 (midnight) to 0500 nightly, effective March 18, 2013.

Frog Lane and Gymnasium Road have been closed on Saturday while road work in the area takes place.
Crane accident closes road
A crane from D and J Construction fell in to a ditch in the South Shore Road area near Paynter's Road. Both roads will be closed until it can be pulled out.
e-Waste recycling day this weekend
e-Waste Recycling Day will take place on Saturday, March 9 from 9am to 5pm at the Tynes Bay Waste to Energy Facility located on Palmetto Road.

City of Hamilton to host Town Hall meeting
The City of Hamilton Council will host a Town Hall meeting on Tuesday, February 26 at 6pm at Emmanuel Baptist church hall.

East End Primary school was closed on Monday morning after an electrical pole fell on the premises.

The City of Hamilton on Friday announced road closures which will take place around Church and King Streets starting this weekend.

Repairs to drainage and the public access steps are being done at Elbow Beach by the Ministry of Public Works.
BELCO works on North Shore Road
BELCO advised motorists that starting on Thursday afternoon, February 7th, crews will be working on North Shore Road in Hamilton Parish. Traffic restrictions will be in place.
