Ex-UBP candidate denies serious attack
A former UBP and independent election candidate appeared at Magistrates' Court on Tuesday.
47-year-old Tillman Darrell of Pembroke was granted $3000 bail today after he denied wounding a man, causing grievous bodily harm and possessing an offensive weapon.
All charges stem from an incident which occurred on March 20 this year.
Mr. Darrell stood in Pembroke South East for the UBP in the 2007 general election, and again as an independent in 2012.
Represented by Michael Scott, Mr. Darrell will reappear for mention on May 27.
