Bruce Degrilla ran 10.94 in the 100m in the heats and placed eighth in the finals in a time of 11.07. Bruce also placed second in the long jump with a leap of 7.50m — the winner recorded a jump of 7.53m.
Degrilla and Webb were both representing Central Arizona State College.
Meanwhile, the BNAA are pleased to announce the team that will be representing Bermuda in the upcoming inaugural IAAF World Relay Event in the Bahamas on May 24-25. Aaron Evans, Dill, Lamont Marshall and Trey Simons will represent Bermuda in the 4 X 800m.
BNAA president Donna Watson said in a press release: “We are very excited about this event and look forward to the team participating.
“There will be multiple races for the 4X800m as there is no qualification standard and the winner of the event will be based on time. Of course, we will be up against some tough nations like Kenya who would be favored in this event.”
