Mixed results for Mitchell and Mayho in Mexico

Bermuda endured mixed results in the time trial at the Pan American Continental Championships in Mexico.

Nicole Mitchell finished 13th out of 18 starters, a strong performance in a competition won by Evelyn Stevens, of the US.

However, Dominique Mayho did not finish the course due to mechanical problems, which was a disappointment given the amount of preparation he has put into the race.

Both athletes are using this competition as a part of their Commonwealth Games build-up. The road race takes place Saturday.
