Nishanthi Bailey is a diva and goddess of the stage!
Performing since the age of four, she is a Spelmanite locally best known as a comedic artist. However, it’s her dramatic skills that gained the actress, stage manager and director international acknowledgment as the first runner-up at Las Vegas’s Talent Rock Acting Competition and the first to receive the Annual Ruby Awards “Best Actress” title in Atlanta, GA.
The 29-year-old Drama Teacher is ticking off an artistic bucket list item as she performs in her first self-directed, one woman performance in celebration of her upcoming $30,000 30th Birthday Charity Project from May 21 to 24 at Daylesford Theatre from 7pm nightly.
Interview by the Bermuda Sun’s Sarah Lagan.
