Bermuda’s coach Roedolf Van Der Westhuizen has promised his ‘strongest line-up’ when they take on USA South Rugby tomorrow in their NACRA’s North Caribbean Championship match.
Bermuda have made several changes to the team that got demolished by Mexico 56-9 in a warm-up game two weeks ago. A game that provided the islanders with a tough test at altitude.
Van Der Westhuizen coach said: “We have made some changes from the game against Mexico and believe that we are fielding our strongest line-up for this game.
“Our focus will be to be very clinical in defence and compete hard at the breakdown to ensure we have sufficient ball possession to dictate the pace of the game. The USA South team will be a much younger team than the Bermuda team, which can be seen as a disadvantage if you focus on speed and fitness.
“However the experience we have will count just as much and even more in a tight game situation,
which I expect this game to be.”
