Fresh off his CARIFTA bronze in Martinique, Bermuda runner Dage Minors set a Northeast-10 Conference 800m record at Stonehill College in Massachusetts on Saturday.
Freshman Minors, who studies at Franklin Pierce University, clocked a time of one minute 51.65 seconds, beating the old record by 0.07 seconds.
Minors’ time was his best of the season and met the NCAA Championships provisional qualifying standard in the event.
It was the third Northeast-10 title of the weekend for the Ravens, who had winners in the 10,000 metres and the 4x800-metres relay on Friday.
