CellOne's new low roaming rates to US, UK, Ireland and Canada

CellOne announced today its customers can now take advantage of Bermuda’s lowest roaming rates while travelling to Canada, the UK and Ireland in addition to the US. 

With the new ‘Travel Pass’ customers can subscribe to the $25 monthly plan for travel in any of the four locations. Usage rates are as low as 25 cents per minute for voice and 35 cents per megabyte of data.

“We continue to work with our roaming partners in other markets to lower the cost of using smartphones and tablets while travelling.” says Frank Amaral, CellOne’s CEO. “This new offer means that when CellOne customers land at their destination, they can use their mobile devices more freely knowing the cost of roaming is affordable, in particular as it relates to web browsing and using apps like Facebook and WhatsApp.” Based on CellOne’s own usage statistics, the vast majority of customers can expect the average daily cost of data roaming to be less than $10 a day.

CellOne customers can begin subscribing to Travel Pass on May 2^nd, 2014 by using any one of the following methods:

·        Phone – dial 700.7000 or 611 from your mobile phone for the 24 hour Customer Care Centre

·        Retail Store - visit any of the 3 retail stores including the new Heron Bay Plaza location
