Australian Glenn Joyner leads the 2014 Bermuda Open Championships by three shots after the second round at Port Royal yesterday.

Joyner was first out yesterday morning and returned a two-under 69,  which was the best score of the day.

He now lies in sole first position, closely pursued by Justin Regier, who shot even par.

Bermudian Michael Simms shares second place after a one-over 72 today, while Dwayne Pearman lies in fourth place seven  shots behind the leader.

In the Open Championship Amateur Division, Jarryd Dillas extended his lead by shooting a five-over par 76, which puts him six shots ahead of Shannon Trott.

Mark Phillips is in third place but some 10 strokes behind the leader.

The First Flight saw some movement today as Ian Page moved up the leaderboard into first place after scoring 80.

The overnight leader Andrew Trott came in with an 87 which dropped him to third place, allowing Keith Trott to move to second position, two strokes off the lead.

The third round is scheduled to start at 8am this morning but with gale-force winds forecast for most of the day it is unknown at this stage whether it will be possible to complete the round.
