Snooker: Watford see off Warwick

Watford Sports Club 2 defeated Warwick Workman’s Club 2 4-2 in the latest round of Bermuda Snooker Association matches. 

Keino Zuill won his game against Nadanja Bailey 50-25, while Daniel Caines won his two against Tony Dawson 82-27 and 58-28. 

Aaron Bean defeated Keith Smith 72-62, while doubles partners Zuill/Bean defeated Smith/Reuben Burchall 65-32.

Sandys Boat Club defeated Royal Artillery Association 4-2. Richard Beale and Honky Burrows won a game each in the double-frame games. Burrows won the first 70-41 and Beale won the second 70-33. 

Martin Siese defeated Mike McGowan 41-32 and Peter Bromby got by Fred Richardson 48-40. Bromby/Siese defeat McGowan/Richardson 59-41.

Watford Sports Club 1 defeated Warwick Workman’s Club 1 4-2 after Gary Bascombe had given WWC an early lead by defeating Ray DeSilva 68-17.

Steven Bremar and Courtland Furbert split the double-frame games by winning one each. Bremar won the first 61-44 and Furbert won the second 66-47. 

Zane DeSilva defeated Andre Burgess 57-35, while Z. DeSilva/Maurice Hawkins won the doubles.n
