Bermuda martial arts star Jermal Woolridge is to headline Teachers RFC’s Annual Fight Night on Saturday, April 5 at the Berkeley Institute gym.
Woolridge, the wushu world silver medallist, will take on Canadian WXC Warrior Joey Brozovich in the main kickboxing bout of the event, which has been dubbed Fight Night XVI: Relentless.
The undercard will see Bermuda boxer Andre Lamb take on Canadian Nick Hoover, while the other kickboxing clash pits Bermudian Talia Iris up against Canadian muay thai fighter Shelby Marchand.
There will also be an all-Bermudian boxing match between Corey Boyce and Shannon Ford.
Entry is $50, with VIP tickets priced at $110 (free bar and drinks service to your seat). Part of the proceeds will be donated to the Dante Noel-Simmons Education Fund.
Doors open at 6pm, with the action scheduled to get under way at 7pm. Must be 18 years or older to attend.
