A documentary about the Royal Family’s artwork and a heartfelt comedy are to feature in the Documentary Film Festival’s Weekend Series on Sunday evening.
The festival’s promo material says: “In Royal Paintbox, screening at 3pm, HRH the Prince of Wales reveals an extraordinary treasure trove of rarely seen artworks by members of the Royal Family past and present and explores a colourful palette of intimate family memory and observation.”
The comedy, The Grand Seduction, is described as: “A crowd-pleasing comedy about the small fishing village of Tickle Head (population 120), which must procure a local doctor to secure a lucrative business contract. When unlikely candidate and big city doctor Paul Lewis (Taylor Kitsch) lands in their lap for a trial residence, the townsfolk rally together to convince the fast-living, jazz-loving, cricket-playing doctor that their sleepy harbour is a paradise tailor-made just for him.”
Tickets are on sale now at the Oceans Gift Shop, BUEI, or by calling 294-0204. Trailers of the films can be viewed at www.bermudadocs.com.
