Reed at coaching event

The Team Hurricane Basketball Program’s summer of growth and learning continued at Coaching U Live, which was held at Mendenhall Center on the campus of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

Coaching U Live is an annual two-day coaching development event that features widely-recognized expert speakers in an intense, no-nonsense learning environment.  

 For Team Hurricane Founder and Head Coach, Doug Reed, this was his first opportunity to attend Coaching U Live.  

“It was truly an enlightening experience. The insights shared were inspiring.  

“They went beyond the X & O’s of basketball.  The focus was on team building, and the tools needed to run a successful organization.  The speakers spoke from personal experience and provided lessons and strategies that anyone in a leadership role can benefit from.” 

Featured speakers included Doc Rivers, current Head Coach and President of Basketball Operations for the Los Angeles Clippers.
